BTES adds VMI to its product portfolio: Bayer Technology and Engineering (Shanghai) Company Limited (BTES) is cooperating with Orbit Logistics in China and Southeast Asia. Bayer Technology and Engineering (Shanghai) Company Limited (BTES), a subsidiary of Bayer Technology Services GmbH, has signed an agreement with German based company Orbit Logistics to provide advanced inventory solutions ─ vendor managed inventory (VMI) in Southeast Asia and China. This agreement enables BTES to better serve its customers in the process industry with an enriched product portfolio, which already contains supply chain & logistics consulting, process analyzer technology, advanced manufacturing solutions, process technology, etc. in addition to the engineering services.
Many companies in the process industry have turned to supply chain management to reduce cost, improve operation efficiency and customer satisfaction. VMI is an effective method that improves the order fulfilment processes by enhancing cooperation between suppliers and customers.
