BTES INTERNATIONAL TEAM SINGING for 60 Years' ANNIVERSARY for PRC

Shanghai Chemical Industry Park （SCIP）Trade Union organized its first Arts Festival in celebration of the 60 year's anniversary of P.R.C. starting from this summer, and the event reaches its climax this week by its chorus competition.   BTES formed a chorus team and after 3 months' training, thirty plus people including several expatriates got familiar with 2 Chinese 'Red Songs'.   On Sept. 17 2009, the team performed against other nine teams at SCIP stadium.  It was very encouraging that BTES Managing Director Dr. Martin Franke came to the venue to support.  The team did a great job not only by the singing but also by some good interactive ideas, and received rounds of applauses among all the audiences and competitors.  The team won the 'Best Planning Award of the 1st SCIP Arts Festival'. For all of us it is rare and thus cherishable to have such a chance being together forming a team, enjoying the music through the trainings and entering the final contest, thanks to the BTES Trade Union Committee for its support and organization.
