Bayer Technology & Engineering (Shanghai) Company Limited received engineering design license in China

June 2010 - Bayer Technology & Engineering (Shanghai) Company Limited has received its engineering design license from the Chinese government, granting the company to undertake engineering design for China-based projects in the chemical industry.

"This is another important milestone in the development of our organization in Asia especially in China.  With the engineering license we are further improving our plant-life-cycle services from innovation to investment management and plant optimization for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries." said Dr. Martin Franke, Managing Director of Bayer Technology & Engineering (Shanghai) Company Limited.

The license is required for engineering and construction companies located in China to undertake engineering services for projects in China. The license further extends Bayer Technology & Engineering (Shanghai) Company Limited's service provision to front end engineering and design (FEED); basic design; Preliminary Design Package (PDP); detail design; engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services; EPC contracting; project management, and other relevant technical consulting and management services.

Before being granted this engineering license, Bayer Technology & Engineering (Shanghai) Company Limited' has successfully achieved more than 60 projects in China for both international and local customers in chemical and pharmaceutical industries.  Based on its global expertise and local experiences, the company is now in an even better position to serve its customers in China
